Live Wedding Artist!

I’m excited to share with you my new creative service I am now offering….LIVE WEDDING ARTIST! Yes, you read that correctly, a live wedding artist.

What is a Live Wedding Artist?

Well, in a sentence, it’s an artist to paints a scene from your wedding day – LIVE. You and your guests get to see the painting progress throughout our wedding day and are then presented with the finished painting…it’s yours to keep!

This is still all fairly new, so I’m building up my portfolio, so at the moment you can hire me for a very reasonable price. I currently only offer ‘faceless’ illustrations, which many live wedding artists do.

My description for this is:

A snapshot of your wedding day, captured in watercolour, by artist Catherine Davis. The absence of features works to emphasize the figure’s general look and form, leaving room for viewers to see themselves and observe more of the whole scene more strongly.

However, if they don’t like that style, there are other options/packages I can offer:

• I can paint them at the alter whilst taking their vows, so it will be the backs for their heads, dress/suit and part of the congregation and inside the venue/church.
• I can paint them looking away/walking away, so again, it will be the backs for their heads, dress/suit and the scenery around them (example would be the happy couple holding hands looking at the venue or church or cake, landscape).
• Or I can just paint the venue (like the attached)
